The spirit of it

At Flagship, we think of ourselves as a family and one of our greatest strengths is the culture we've built together. The connections, the energy, the way we learn from each other day to day. These things happen best when we're in the same room. Our office is our home base: the place we return to, the place we do our best work together.

We also know that life doesn't run to a nine-to-five schedule. We trust you to manage your time like an adult, and we want to give you the flexibility to do exactly that.

Our rhythm

We aim for three to four days a week in the office, which only applies to those of you based in Sydney or Los Angeles, where we have permanent offices. It's where the magic happens: impromptu conversations, team collaboration, onboarding new people, and building the kind of trust that makes everything else work.

As a general guide:

Days in the office What it means
4 days (Mon to Thu) What we're aiming for
3 days Totally fine
1 day working from home Generally Friday

Showing up for each other is part of what it means to be a Flagship family.

Life happens

We completely understand that things come up - medical appointments, a tradie at home, personal admin, family needs. We don't expect anyone to be rigid about this.

💡 Where you can, try to schedule personal commitments that require you to be home on your work-from-home day. It keeps things simple for you and for the team. If that's not possible, no worries, just give your manager a heads up.

Btw, it’s also always nice to let the team know via the local team Slack channel: #au-team, #us-team.

This isn't about keeping tabs on anyone's schedule. It's to make sure that as a team, we're showing up for each other in the ways that matter most.

What we're asking for

Whether you're in the office or at home, bring that same energy. We do our best work together when everyone is connected, engaged, and showing up for each other.
